The Sharp LC32SV29U is a low-range offering of a 32 inch 720p HDTV. There was nothing special about the styling of this HDTV, it is your standard looking TV, black in color. The LC32SV29U weighs about 24 and a half pounds which is per usual for this size HDTV. It feels very solidly built, I have always found sharp products to be very high in build quality and the LC32SV29U is no exception. The setup was ridiculously easy, there are plenty of connections and the picture quality is good right out of the box.
The picture quality is what you would expect from a HDTV in this price range, not amazing but not bad either. This is a budget HDTV, so for the price I believe the picture quality is well worth it. I wouldn’t use the Sharp LC32SV29U as my main living room HDTV, but it would go nicely in a bedroom or office. The screen is a LCD Active matrix TFT, with decent viewing angles of 176 degrees. It is a 720p HDTV with a Pixel Resolution of 1366 X 768. The Dynamic contrast ratio is 1,000,000:1 and aspect ratio of 16:9. So, not an amazing viewing experience, but really good for the price.
The connectivity is a great selling point on the Sharp LC32SV29U, there should be everything you need and more. You have three HDMI inputs, which is more than plenty, your standard composite video and audio, Component and what is a really nice feature is this HDTV has a USB port that can provide many uses.
In the box you will find the HDTV, Remote, Table Stand Warranty card, power cord and manual, all the standard things you would expect. You can’t beat the price for the Sharp LC32SV29U 4 stars for the combination of price, connectivity and picture quality. At the current price you could pick up one of these bad boys for each bedroom of your house. All in in all a great value from Sharp. One of the top Low-range priced HDTVs out there. The Sharp LC32SV29U is a definite winner.
