Motorola Roadster tz700 Review
The Motorola Roadster tz700 is a Bluetooth speakerphone device that clips to your cars visor. I know you have seen those people on the road driving horribly because they are on the phone, and Motorola Roadster fixes that, and makes you and other people on the road safer. Motorola has a good record with Bluetooth devices, so they have great experience manufacturing quality devices. Motorola Roadster tz700 feels solid and well built and it fasten securely to my visor without a problem.
The roadster uses dual microphone technology which filters out road and cabin noise so that just your voice comes through loud and clear. It worked miles better than my phones on board speakerphone. The speakerphone Bluetooth technology really has come a long way and the Motorola Roadster tz700 really shines in voice clarity and noise reduction. The roadster uses an FM transmitter so that you can hear you calls through your cars speaker system, which is a really nice feature on the Motorola.
The Motorola Roadster tz700 will give you audible updates on your phone including battery status, mute status and so on. It includes Motospeak 2.0 which will read you your text messages and allow you to dictate a reply to texts. Motospeak worked really well on my EVO 4G Android phone. It wasn’t perfect, there were random dictation errors but by far the best I have used. The tz700 will turn on automatically when you get in your car and turn itself off when you get out of your car. Battery life was pretty amazing on this little device, I didn’t quite get what Motorola states on the spec sheets but pretty close. About 16 hours of talk time which is pretty good.
I really liked the Motorola Roadster tz700, it looks great, sounds great and has some really great features. You pretty much clip it to your visor and it does its thing and does it really well. If you are looking for a great Bluetooth speakerphone for your car, the Roadster is a great choice, there is nothing on the market now that can match its quality or even come close.
